The Restarts were the last band to play at Welfare Records' last show. The only legal DIY run venue in the Boston area was shut down. Welfare was featured in the 2008 National Geographic documentary on "Straight Edge" and was a promising venue for a community that has struggled for a permanent show space since The Rat closed its doors over tens years ago.
