“Pontius Pilate’s Fantasy”

Pontius Pilate was responsible for executing Christ. Only one physical piece of evidence supporting his existence has been found: a stone with an inscription I have added to the pages of the book at the bottom of the painting. In contrast, the Bible is placed on the other side.

This blatantly pro-woman piece argues the religious war over a woman’s choice. The angels hold coat hangers, Mary’s halo is a packet of birth control pills and the surrounding flowers are all plants known to induce miscarriage.
